The following are results of actual clients at Charlie Abel's SuperSlow® facility in Santa Rosa CA.

Client #1: She had emergency back surgery 4 years ago and has had sciatic pain, described as a sharp pain from her sacrum to her foot, ever since.  After 5 to 6 weeks of SuperSlow® exercise only once a week using the SuperSlow® Lower Back machine, she’s happy to report no recurring pain.

Client #2: In 6 weeks of SuperSlow® exercise twice a week for less than 30 minutes per session, she achieved substantially noticeable beneficial changes in her body and achieved them faster than with any other strength training programs she’s ever used.  She also followed our reduced calorie eating plan and lost 10 lb. of bodyweight during those first 6 weeks.

Client #3: He had been working out on a stairmaster and stationary bicycle at a health club. He complained of pain in his knee joints. He could not bend his knees enough to squat down without holding onto something, and without knee pain. Stretching exercises also caused him knee pain. He stopped using the stairmaster, stationary bicycle, and stretching exercises and began performing SuperSlow® exercise twice a week using the SuperSlow® Leg Press. After only 4 weeks, (8 workouts) he no longer has knee pain and is now able to squat all the way down without holding onto anything.

Client #4: He is employed as a painter and complained of waking up mornings with a stiff neck that often lasted throughout the day. After doing SuperSlow® exercise twice a week for approximately 8 weeks using the SuperSlow® Neck Flexion and Extension machine, and SuperSlow® Neck & Shoulder (Trapezius) machine, he no longer complains of neck stiffness.

Client #5: He experienced a tingling sensation in the first three fingers of his right hand in the morning especially when holding onto the steering wheel. After the first three months of using the SuperSlow® Neck Flexion and Extension machine, he no longer has the tingling sensation in those fingers.

Client #6: She complained of a small amount of urinary incontinence while sneezing or coughing. After approximately 3 months using the SuperSlow® Hip Abduction and Leg Press machines for the pelvic floor muscle strengthening program, she reports that this is no longer a problem.

Client #7: She’s 72 years old and has been doing SuperSlow® exercise twice a week for 6 months. We started her cautiously on the SuperSlow® Leg Press using only 40 lbs. She is now using 130 lbs. on the leg press. She likes working in her garden for recreation, but recently had a fall twisting her back and causing her ankle to swell. The ankle swelling only lasted a day and she was able to work out again two days later with no ankle problems. A week later some back pain caused her to miss only one workout, but she has been exercising since then with no problems. Her goal is to keep her bones strong and improve her posture. She’s achieving her goal.

Client #8: He's 77 years old and a cancer survivor with only one lung. He does SuperSlow® exercise once a week while on 2 liters of oxygen. His muscles were severly atrophied from several hospital stays to the point where he could almost reach around his thighs above the knee with his thumb and index finger. He performs four exercises: the SuperSlow® leg press, chest press, pulldown, and compound row, in that order, because it's easiest to walk to the machines. Performing the exercises seem to slow and moderate his breathing, and he needs enough time between exercise to catch his breath, so the four exercises take 30 minutes. As a result of SuperSlow® exercise, he reports he feels better overall. He's able to work in the garden longer, carry things such as grocery bags more easily, and he can feel his biceps again. He doubled his strength on the leg press from 40 to 80 lbs. in the first few weeks, and now each week he progresses a little more. It's tough for him, but he keeps at it.
